TERRATWIST

I was the youngest of four, 2 boys 2 girls.

Later came two step siblings, 1 boy 1 girl.

I have lived most of my life in the town but i have also travelled around the world alot, spending a lot of time in the U.S.A. from the east to the west, and the north and south, the city of NEW YORK is my favourite and i have spent many months there.

I have also spent a few months on the west coast from San Diego where one of my sisters live, to LA and San Francisco.

I have also travelled to Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, Iceland, Germany, Slovakia and Holland just to name a few.

I have always drawn from a very young age, and my first inspirations was the comic books of Marvel and D.C.. i continued to draw up untill i found painting, and since then i have been on a never ending journey trying to create that perfect piece.

Today i dont do so much travelling due to a back injury, so i stay home alot and continue to draw, paint and sculpt.

I also had a career as B.Boy, and did most of my travelling for this, its started in 1983 and i still have a involvement in the scene to this day 2014, my son ARTWIST was born into the culture of HIP HOP and is also a B.Boy, my wife to dances and she is a B.Girl, aswell as being a B.Girl she also due to finnish her learning to be a Masseuse, specializing in beauty and Eroma Theropy and alternative healing traditions,like hot stones and Indian head, and she is also a fully quilified hair dresser.

We also have a nother child our daughter Roxanne a.k.a. "ROXXEE HORA" she also is very creative and has studied fashion and clothes making, and she is currently learning special fx make up dezine, she also creates jewelry and other creative things, she loves hip hop but as gone in her own direction, she's our little ROCK CHIC….

I myself have had no formal training except art class at school, but the rest is all self taught, i believe passion will find its way, and time is the greatest teacher.

I have many projects on the go and many waiting in the future, i beleive life is a journey and you are along for the ride, where you get off and get on can change from time to time but life will find you and it will guid you as longa syour are listening, with both your ears and all your eyes..specially the 3rd eye.

Recently i was diagnosed with Bypolar and this changed my life completely, i was always aware of my mood "exstreme high's and lows" but always able to control it with exercise, creativity and lots of fun, but since my injury to my back i have lost the formula to control it.

So i have been learning more and more about myself aswell as the condition, my back injury was in 2007 and it gradually got worse and worse, and my general health and fitness was effected by this and the spiral as not stopped, me and my family lost our house in 2008 when i was unable to pay the mortgage due to my back injury, we was homeless for a spell, untill the local authoritys rehoused us in government housing, and since then we have moved around trying to find a new hope, we had 5 new address since 2008 before we found our present home.

2013 was the worst year of my life, its funny reall i have heared a lot of people say the same thing, but for me its been a real tester, its also been a awakenning for me, spiritually and mentaly, i have started the new year 2014 with much more hope and spirit and i am ready to take back my place in the world.

So look out world here i come.

I have managed to rehome many custom works around the world, especialy the jacets, from as far as the U.S.A, South Korea, Iceland, Japan, Holland, France, Spain, Slovakia just to name a few.

I have managed to create unique works of art for many hip hop LEGENDS and have many more waiting in line for my creations.

Thank you for checking out my art, most of which was created well before i joined DeviantART, i have come on here hoping to create all new works in a brand new direction, still keeping the fundamental elements that make the art of NYC traditional subway writing, but also incorperating more of my other thoughts and points of view, from spirituality, conspiracy theories, polotrix, outerspace, alien life forms, nature, the forces of nature, the 4 elements that make life "fire,water,wind and earth", the planets, the dead and the living, good and evil, myths and  mythology, fantasy, world domination, earth issues, the minds eye,all seeing eye, and anything else my mind can imagine.
